Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club is one of the North West’s leading cricket clubs, with a proud history dating back to 1873. The club boasts outstanding facilities, thriving junior and senior sections, women’s cricket and a welcoming community that has helped generations of players develop their game. The club also runs junior programmes from All Stars through to Under 19s, making it an excellent environment for young cricketers in Chester to learn and grow.
We were delighted to visit Chester Boughton Hall CC at the start of the cricket season and meet members, parents and coaches in person. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce Breakthrough Maths to the club, learn more about its thriving junior section and begin what we hope will be a long-term partnership with club families.
Meeting the Team
One of the highlights of our visit to Chester Boughton Hall CC was seeing first-hand the incredible sense of community that exists throughout the club. We visited as the cricket season was getting underway, giving us the opportunity to meet players, parents and coaches and experience the excitement around the new season. The club’s beautiful grounds, impressive new marquee and thriving junior section immediately stood out, reflecting the hard work of everyone involved behind the scenes. It was also fantastic to support the U11 team with Breakthrough Maths water bottles and spend time getting to know the families who make the club such a special place. We’re excited to continue building our partnership with Chester Boughton Hall CC and supporting its members both on and off the field.

Many young players at Chester Boughton Hall CC spend several evenings each week training, with weekends dedicated to matches, tournaments and club events. Through our live online 11+ Preparation, GCSE Maths and A-Level Maths programmes, we’ve helped hundreds of students each week build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Our partnership with Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club reflects a shared commitment to helping young people succeed both on the cricket field and in the classroom. By providing flexible online maths tuition that fits around cricket, we’re making it easier for club families to support both sporting and academic ambitions throughout the school year.
As a Chester Boughton Hall CC member, you’ll receive exclusive access to our discounted online maths programmes. Whether your child is preparing for the 11+, GCSEs or A-Levels, our live online classes are designed to fit around training, matches and family life, helping students make consistent progress without sacrificing the sports. Students can attend four live lessons each week, access recordings if cricket commitments mean they miss a class, and follow a structured programme that keeps them progressing throughout the school year. It’s a flexible approach that allows young cricketers to continue developing both academically and on the pitch.

Helps your child develop the maths skills and confidence needed for grammar school entrance exams through structured live lessons, mock tests and weekly practice.
GCSE
Live online classes covering the full GCSE curriculum, with four lessons each week, recorded classes and regular testing to help students stay on top of Maths.
A-Level
Expert-led online classes covering the key A-Level topics, helping students master challenging concepts step-by-step to prepare for Maths with confidence.
