Club Partnership Programme
Achieve on the pitch, achieve in class
Starting in 2026, we’ve set up a clubs and tuition partnership. We work with over 150 sports clubs from rowing, cricket, soccer, and rugby, and have created a rebate scheme with clubs.
For clubs: All tuition fees for the first month the members are signed up go straight back to the clubs. This is recurring and is an income source for clubs.
For players: You get 50% off online maths tuition.

Your players shouldn’t have to choose between sports and study
Students often feel forced to prioritise one over the other. When maths becomes difficult, some step back from sport. Others lose confidence, avoid maths, and focus only on sport — creating a cycle that holds them back, although they are more than able to excel in both. (Read our article on Maths anxiety here.)
The Confidence Gap in Maths
We’re mindful of how this dynamic can affect students, especially girls. (Read our article on Girls and Maths Anxiety here.) Social stereotypes, lower self-belief, avoiding risk-taking can lead to them disengaging from the subject over time.
At Breakthrough Maths, our focus is on rebuilding that confidence early. Through structured teaching by our enthusiastic tutors, we help students experience small wins each week.
Knutsford Rugby Club were delighted to launch our partnership with Breakthrough Maths. Our strategic partnership with BM helps us achieve this through helping our GCSE aged students with their school / qualification whilst the financial support we have received from BM has helped us provide rugby focused life experiences to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to.
