Our online classes means no travelling after school! So much time is wasted getting to and from tutors. With Breakthrough Maths, you can attend the class from the comfort of home.

Testing

We focus on testing, not lecturing. It’s all about active practice in class. It allows us to measure tangible outcomes for each student.

x4 Weekly

Breakthrough Maths students receive 4 classes per week.

We will cover x2 Maths topics each week. We get a lot more covered in our program. It’s comprehensive!

Connor Smith

Connor is a First Class Honors PhD researcher from Liverpool. He has extensive experience tutoring Maths across the UK and UAE, tutoring for over 2,000 hours. Connor leads our Year 11 and Year 10 Higher classes.

Harry

Harry is our GCSE Maths tutor from Milton Keynes. He’s studying Sports and Maths at Nottingham Trent University and brings great energy to class. He’s patient and warm with the students, and will be enrolling in a PhD in Mathematics in September.

We have selected tutors based on their ability to be engaging.

Keeping a child focused for 50 to 55 minutes is the first step.

We ensure our tutors come from Maths backgrounds in college and that they enjoy teaching Maths. That commitment and consistency in class is really important.

I really struggled with Maths in school. I hated being lectured to. I was lost in class.
In 2020, I set up Breakthrough Maths to help others solve the problems I had experienced.

We have gone from 8 students per week to over 3,000. We have featured on the Irish Times, Oxford Life and Nottingham World.

Maths is a skill. With practice, it becomes easier and easier to understand. A relatable, engaging tutor is what makes a difference.

Our dedicated team works from 9am-9pm, 7 days a week.

What’s covered in class?

We cover 2 different topics each week, and students choose which ones to focus on.

Every Sunday, you’ll receive a text with the week’s plan. One topic will be more advanced, and we’ll clearly indicate which one. This method ensures we cater to students of all abilities.

Class structure?

A key benefit of our classes is the fact you can join any of the 4 classes we have on, Monday-Thursday, with access to all the recordings as well. Join any class, any evening!

Covering 2 topics per week means that you can really push your learning in Maths.

Tutoring pricing?

It’s £149 for the 10-week course. (3 payments of £49, billed every three weeks).

What’s unique about our classes?

Our platform is tailored to your child, combining live classes, worksheets and notes in one place. Personalised support at every stage.

1-1 class?

Our classes are group sessions. We ensure students only interact with and engage with the tutor. The tutor can interact with everyone in the class and make sure each child is engaged.

Suitable for all Exam Boards?

A specific curriculum is made out for each year to ensure all key topics are revised. Our content covers all exam board papers.

Class duration?

Our classes are 45 to 50 minutes long.

On Zoom?

All classes are on Zoom.

Equipment?

Our Zoom classes can be accessed through a laptop, iPad or a phone. Ideally, take a pen and some paper with you.
