Canterbury Cricket Club is one of Kent’s most established cricket clubs, with a rich history and a thriving junior section that continues to develop young players of all ages. From All Stars and Dynamos through to junior league cricket, the club provides a welcoming environment where children can learn, improve and enjoy the game while becoming part of a fantastic community.
We were delighted to visit Canterbury CC and meet members, parents and coaches during the season. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce Breakthrough Maths to the club, learn more about its outstanding junior programme and begin what we hope will be a long-term partnership supporting young people both on the cricket field and in the classroom.
Meeting the Team
One of the highlights of our visit to Canterbury CC was seeing first-hand the fantastic community that exists throughout the club. The CC’s Chairperson and Head of Junior Cricket, Richard Durrant, was an absolute gentleman for showing us around. We enjoyed meeting players, parents and coaches, learning more about the club’s thriving junior section and experiencing the welcoming atmosphere that makes Canterbury CC such a special place.
It was a great opportunity to introduce Breakthrough Maths to club families in Canterbury, chat about how our online maths programmes fit around training and matches, and begin what we hope will be a long-term partnership. We’re excited to work alongside Canterbury Cricket Club and support its members both on and off the field.

Students can attend four live classes each week, watch recordings if cricket commitments mean they miss a lesson, and follow a structured programme that keeps them progressing week after week. It’s a flexible approach that allows young cricketers to continue developing academically while enjoying everything the club has to offer.

11+ Exam Prep
Helps your child develop the maths skills and confidence needed for grammar school entrance exams through structured live lessons, mock tests and weekly practice.
GCSE
Live online classes covering the full GCSE curriculum, with four lessons each week, recorded classes and regular testing to help students stay on top of Maths.
A-Level
Expert-led online classes covering the key A-Level topics, helping students master challenging concepts step-by-step to prepare for Maths with confidence.
