Alton Cricket Club has earned a strong reputation as one of Hampshire’s established community cricket clubs, welcoming players of all ages and abilities throughout the season. With a flourishing junior section, the club is dedicated to helping young cricketers develop their skills in a positive and supportive environment where enjoyment of the game comes first.
Cricket teaches patience, teamwork and perseverance, and Alton CC gives young players the opportunity to develop those qualities through regular coaching, league cricket and club events. Thanks to the commitment of its coaches, volunteers and families, the club continues to play an important role in supporting grassroots cricket across the local area.
Meeting the Team
It was a pleasure to visit Alton CC and spend time at the club, seeing first-hand the welcoming atmosphere that has made it such an important part of the local cricket community.
