➡ Confidence in all key topics
➡ Measurable progress every month
➡ No surprises on exam day

The 11+ is an entrance exam used by grammar schools to assess Maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills. It’s competitive, so that’s where the right preparation makes all the difference.
Students need to become familiar with the style of questions and develop confidence in exam conditions, as the 11+ evaluates how they apply their knowledge, think through problems, and work under time pressure.
Preparing for the 11+ Maths is about building understanding and familiarity with the exam itself. Your child will need clear, step-by-step teaching so they fully grasp each topic, along with regular practice to brush up on exam-style thinking. Just as importantly, they need to become comfortable working under time pressure and confident in how to approach varying types of Maths problems. With consistent preparation and the correct structure, students can walk into the exam ready to perform.
• Unfamiliar with exam-style questions
• Inconsistent study routines
• No clear sense of progress
• Practising without fully understanding topics
• Losing confidence when topics feel difficult
• Regular exposure to exam-style questions
• 4 consistent classes per week
• Monthly mock exams to track improvement
• Step-by-step teaching so your child understands
• Confidence built through clear explanations and small wins each week
With 4 classes each week, structured learning, and full access to all recordings, your child receives ongoing support and consistent progress for €99 per month.
The challenge often comes from how questions are presented. Students may know the topic, but the exam requires them to apply it in unfamiliar ways, think through problems independently, and work within time limits.
This is why effective preparation goes beyond just covering content. Regular exposure to exam-style questions, clear guidance, and continuous practice help students recognise patterns, build confidence, and approach questions without guesswork.
Strong understanding of core topics is essential, but practising how to apply that knowledge in exam-style questions is just as important. Students need to become comfortable recognising question types, working efficiently, and managing time under pressure.
Yes. Preparation can be adapted to support students at different levels.
Whether your child needs to build foundation in core topics or is aiming for top results, we provide clear explanations for all abilities, as well as the right level of challenge.
By focusing on understanding first and gradually increasing difficulty, students are encouraged to improve at their own pace. This helps reinforce both the confidence and the Maths skills needed to perform well in the 11+.
11+ mock tests are designed to reflect the format and standard of the real exam. They typically include a full set of exam-style maths questions, covering key topics. They also provide valuable feedbackto identify areas that need more focus as preparation continues.
In-class quizzes, as well as the monthly mock exams also provide a clear way to track how your child is performing, helping you see where they’re improving and where they may need more focus.
No. Our tutor will fully guide the classes. We encourage your child to build understanding independently, without you needing to step in or teach the material yourself.
There’s no need to worry. Every class is recorded, so your child can rewatch the lesson anytime and catch up at their own pace. They can also attend another class that week, ensuring they stay on track and don’t miss out on key topics.
Each week is also structured so that one topic is covered on Monday and Tuesday, and a new topic is introduced on Wednesday and Thursday. This means your child has multiple opportunities to revisit the same topic within the week or join another session if they miss one.
Classes take place live on Zoom in small groups, where students can only see and interact with the tutor. All questions can be asked in the chat portal. This creates a focused, distraction-free environment while still feeling personal. Students can attend up to 4 classes per week and follow a structured weekly plan.
All classes are recorded if your child needs to revisit or revise any topic.
Each session focuses on one topic, taught step-by-step in a clear and engaging way. Students work through examples and practise exam-style questions, with a short quizzes throughout the class to reinforce learning.
The 11 + classes run for about 50 minutes to 1 hour.
School is already long enough, so we don’t expect them to focus for more than that length of time.
We teach towards Trafford, Kent, and The Wirral exams.
